The Board of County Road Commissioners of Newaygo County will receive sealed bids at their office at 935 east One Mile Road, White Cloud, MI 49439, until 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, March 11, 2015, for the following:
Specifications and bid forms may be obtained at the Road Commission offices during regular business hours or by clicking on the green text links above.
All proposals must be submitted on Road Commission furnished bid forms. Said forms must be in sealed envelopes, plainly marked as to item bid and shall bear the name of the bidder.
The Newaygo County Road Commission hereby notifies all bidders that it will affirmatively insure that in any contract entered into pursuant to this advertisement, disadvantage business enterprise will be afforded full opportunity to submit bids in response to this invitation and will not be discriminated against on the grounds of sex, race, color, or national origin in consideration for an award.
The board reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids and to make award in any manner they deem to be in the best interest of Newaygo County.
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
County Road Commission
Sealed Bids will be received by the Newaygo County Road Commission in the Road Commission Offices at 935 One Mile Road, White Cloud, MI 49349 until 8:00 am local time, Wednesday, March 11, 2015. They will be publicly opened and read aloud at the regular meeting of the Road Commission.
Work includes preparation and painting of two prefabricated metal maintenance buildings at the Road Commission facility at 935 One Mile Road, and all related work.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Fleis & VandenBrink Engineering, 2960 Lucerne Drive SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49546, Telephone (616) 977-1000.
Bidding Documents may be obtained from the Issuing Office during normal working hours Monday through Friday. Bidding Documents are available electronically (as portable document format (PDF) files) for a non-refundable payment of ten dollars ($10.00). Alternatively, printed Bidding Documents may be obtained for a non-refundable payment of twenty-five dollars ($25.00), plus a non-refundable payment of ten dollars ($10.00) for mailing. The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the prospective Bidder’s date of receipt of the
Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
