Safety Takes Everybody's Help!

1.              Your mailbox is on the road right-of-way - this is permitted by the Road Commission as a convenience to you.

2.              If snow plowing damages or knocks your mailbox down, please understand and cooperate by replacing it yourself.

3.              Road Commission Policy is to consider replacing mailboxes only if hit by our equipment.  Replacement will be a standard metal box with steel post and will be picked up at the Road Commission office during regular working hours.

It's a tough call and we do our best to satisfy everyone, so we need your understanding &              cooperation.

4.              Newspaper, shopping guides or advertising tubes should be located near the mailbox on the same side of the road.

Please help our drivers and keep our roads safe.

CALL 689-6682 OR 689-5288 IF STOPLIGHTS ARE OUT OR ROAD SIGNS ARE DOWN.
