The Newaygo County Road Commission is committed to maintaining a safe, reliable, and well-kept transportation system for residents, businesses, and visitors throughout the county. Achieving this goal requires strong partnerships and cooperation with agencies at every level of government. The Road Commission works closely with the Michigan Department of Transportation (MDOT), the U.S. Department of Transportation (USDOT), the Michigan Department of Natural Resources (MDNR), and the County Road Association of Michigan (CRAM) to share resources, knowledge, best practices, and information regarding the maintenance, improvement, and safety of Newaygo County’s roads and bridges. Through these collaborative efforts, the Road Commission remains focused on addressing the needs of our communities, responding to changing conditions, planning for future infrastructure needs, and helping ensure that Newaygo County’s transportation network remains safe, efficient, and accessible for everyone.
